The warm welcome we received upon arrival made us feel instantly comfortable, especially when we arrived early and jet-lagged. The staff were incredibly accommodating, even before our check-in time. The exceptional service continued during breakfast and lunch, where the staff went above and beyond. The room and bathroom were spacious and well-equipped, with plenty of storage space and a bonus dressing area. The overall quality and comfort of the hotel were fantastic.

One minor inconvenience was that the hotel didn't replace the toilet rolls promptly, but it wasn't a big deal. Additionally, the sheets on the duvet didn't fully cover it and were a bit dirty, which affected my sleep quality.

I chose Mercure for its location near the Altar of the Fatherland. I was pleasantly surprised by the paid airport shuttle service offered by the property. The snack bar/deli was also a convenient feature.
